Rae Aranas, MD
Dr. Aranas brings a unique and technical background to his approach on patient care. He earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in engineering at one of the top engineering schools in the country and worked as a structural design engineer prior to attending medical school. He continuously strives to formulate the most innovative and effective treatments for each of his patients.
About Rae Aranas, MD
After attending medical school, Dr. Aranas finished his Anesthesiology residency at the highly competitive Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He further advanced his training by completing a specialized Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Aranas previously practiced in Baltimore, Maryland as a pain management specialist and served as the Medical Director of an ambulatory surgery center. He is Board Certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Aranas is dedicated to providing the most advanced interventional pain management and endoscopic spine treatments for his patients. He has operated on numerous challenging pain management and endoscopic surgical spine cases, with a focus on utilizing the latest minimally invasive techniques to identify the source of pain and treat the problem directly. His primary goal is to decrease pain and return patients to optimal function. Dr. Aranas firmly believes in listening to his patients and taking the time to ensure that they fully understand their condition and treatment options. Dr. Aranas treats each of his patients with sincere compassion and has an unparalleled bedside manner.
